People in Leighton Buzzard will have chance to help plant trees later this week.
The Friends of Linslade Wood will be planting 1,000 tree saplings which have been provided by Central Bedfordshire Council.
They will be planted along the edge of the bridleway which runs through the Woods.
It will take place between 10am and 3pm this Thursday with members meeting at the Soulbury Road entrance to the Woods.
