Thames Valley Police were called at 8:15am this morning, (15/3), to a report that an unexploded ordnance had been found just off Manor Road, Fenny Stratford in Milton Keynes.
Police shut the road as the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit (EOD) was on scene to make it safe.
If you hear a large bang this afternoon, a controlled explosion will be taking place nearby at Manor Fields.
Road closures that were in place have since been lifted.
