Tylers Green Middle school has come up with an amazing song promoting safe travel to and from school. Bucks Radio thought it was so good we visited the school to produce a music video to go with their song!
After Tylers Green School was awarded a bronze level travel plan accreditation with Modeshift STARS, the school came up with their catchy road safety song.
Modeshift STARS is a national schools accreditation scheme established to recognise schools that have demonstrated excellence in supporting cycling, walking and other forms of sustainable travel to and from school.
Head Teacher, Mr Isaacs, shows off their Modeshift STARS Bronze award in the video.

Buckinghamshire has always had a good reputation for coming top of the 59 Local Authorities who are members of Modeshift, with the highest percentage pf schools with a school travel plan of any level.

Lucy Baker, a class teacher at Tylers Green Middle School and also the School Travel Plan Coordinator explains what the school has achieved and how their "Street Smart" song came about.
