The Aylesbury Hundreds Rotary Club have thanked the local community for their generosity when they brought out their famous Santa float after two years in storage.
Charles Chaney Vice President of The Rotary Club of Aylesbury Hundreds sad this to Bucks Radio:
"I did think there was a difference, not only have we noticed it in what we've collected, we've noticed it with the crows and people on the streets. There were lots of children's and mums and dads waiting for us to come, so it was fantastic really seeing them all out there."
After raising their highest amount of money ever, of over £5,700, he told us where the funds go:
"It's all going to local charities, that includes the Stoke Mandeville Paediatric Unit, Chiltern MS Centre, Lymphoma, Wheel Power and The Pace Centre.
"Why we do that as well is because they [the charities] give us the support back too, us elderly rotarians now can't walk round with the buckets, so they send out teams to help us, they deserve everything!"
