Chiltern Railways passengers are being warned of major disruption later this week.
Trains will be suspended between London Marylebone and Aylesbury Vale Parkway via Amersham from Thursday February 19 until Sunday February 22.
The closure is to allow signalling upgrade works on the Metropolitan Line. Replacement buses will operate across the affected route, although longer journey times are expected due to roadworks.
Customers travelling between Aylesbury and London are advised to travel via Princes Risborough where possible and to check before travelling.
