Residents in the village of Quainton are going to sell shares to help buy a local pub.
The George and Dragon is the last remaining pub in Quainton following the closure of the Swan and Castle some 10 years ago.
The George and Dragon was put up for sale in May 2022 and now faces an uncertain future as there has been no interest from Commercial buyers.
With the help of Quainton Parish Council, a Community Action Group was formed with the intention of saving the pub and coffee shop for current and future generations to enjoy.
