Craig Sharp will be competing in the event in to raise money for Citizens Advice Bucks.
Craig says that he is taking on the challenge in April this year "for the families in Buckinghamshire who are struggling to keep a roof over their heads, put food on the table, and keep their children safe and secure".
He explained that not many people realise that Citizens Advice Bucks, which supports people with free expert advice, is a local charity not funded by central government, meaning that the charity relies on "over 100 dedicated volunteers" that act as "the heart of the charity, helping families regain stability when they need it most."

Craig says that any donations will make a huge difference, adding that each contribution "stays local", helping to keep the four office in Aylesbury, Buckingham, High Wycombe and Chesham "open and ready to support people who need them most".
With his experience as a police officer who regularly deals with vulnerable people, Craig says he has seen first-hand the help that these offices can provide, often referring people directly to Citizens Advice himself. He says in other counties, these offices are closing because they have lacked the funds needed to keep going, which is what makes his run and fundraising "so essential".
