Two men have been charged with shoplifting in Chesham.
The two male individuals were arrested at the Waitrose supermarket on The Backs by officers.
One of the two offenders, who was in possession of a bladed article and actively resisted arrest, was later identified as a suspect in numerous other theft offences.
Approximately £600 worth of goods were recovered by officers following the arrests.
