A police officer - based at Amersham - will appear before a misconduct hearing today.
PC William Carter is alleged to have called 999 on 3 occasions, knowing the reports he was making were untrue.
One relates to a call making drink-drive allegations - last October - against another officer.
If found guilty – the charges amount to gross misconduct.
