Man wanted in connection with assault in High Wycombe

Police are appealing for help in tracing a man who is wanted in connection with an assault in High Wycombe.

John Segun, aged 40, is wanted following an assault with injury in Octagon Court, Bull Lane, at around 7.20pm on 16 June 2023.

The victim, a 66-year-old man, sustained head injuries, requiring hospital treatment and has since been discharged.

Segun is known to frequent High Wycombe.

Police staff investigator Zoya Akhtar said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have information as to where John Segun is or could be.

“I am also appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, to please come forward.

“If you have information, please call 101 or make an online report via our website, quoting 43230265561.

“If you come across Segun, do not approach him and call 999 instead.”
