Emergency services responded to a fire in the early hours of this morning,
Crews from Amersham, Beaconsfield and High Wycombe were sent to Station Road in Chesham at just before 4am.
An electrical fire, located in a room measuring approximately five metres by two metres, had burned out.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to a man suffering from smoke inhalation, before passing him into the care of colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service.
They used two sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera, carrying out constant checks for hotpots.
