Man arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences after vehicle search

The latest cocaine-related arrest was made after a vehicle stop and search on Lester Road Aylesbury on Thursday.

A 35-year-old man from Aylesbury remains in custody on suspicion of intent to supply cocaine, possessing criminal property, concealing criminal property and driving without insurance. The man was arrested on Thursday afternoon (January 15th) at just before 4pm after his vehicle was stopped and searched by police on Lester Road.

The arrest is the latest in the Thames Valley Police's crackdown on drug offences, following two prior cocaine related arrests this month a result of vehicle stop and searches on Buckingham Street (January 13th) and Grenville Green (January 4th).

Police say that anyone with information or concerns about drug related crimes in their area should contact them call using 101 or 999 in an emergency, or by contacting Crimestoppers completely anonymously on 0800 555 111.
