Solo artist Leigh-Anne, former member of Little Mix, was the focus of a flash mob of graduates in academic gowns performing a dance routine to her No1 single Don’t Say Love this morning.
The flash mob, all Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) Dance and Performance students, surprised the singer as she was escorted across campus by her friend, mentor, and BNU’s University Chancellor, 'The Repair Shop's" Jay Blades.

Leigh-Anne visited BNU to collect an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of her successful music career and active campaigning for racial equality and anti-racism, especially as co-founder of charity The Black Fund.
By collecting her Honorary Doctorate at the High Wycombe campus of BNU, Leigh-Anne returned to the town in which she was born, went to school and first learnt to perform.

Following the flash mob, Leigh-Anne attended a formal graduation ceremony, accompanied by Jay Blades, joining hundreds of students as they also collect their own undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
