Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Fingest, South Buckinghamshire.
The incident occurred at around 1.30am on Fingest Lane.(18/11).
A red VW Polo collided with a large rockery at the property adjacent to the junction with Fingest Road.
The driver, a man in his eighties was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not believed any other vehicles were involved.
Investigating officer, PC Thom Piercy, of the Joint Roads Policing Unit, based at Amersham police station, said: “Very sadly, a man has died following this collision and our thoughts are with his family, who are being supported at this difficult time.
“I would ask anybody who was in the area at the time who witnessed this collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police either by reporting online or by calling 101, quoting reference number 43220519720.
“If you were driving in the area and have dash-cam, or if you have any CCTV footage, I would urge you to please check this and get in touch if it has captured anything that may assist this investigation.”
