Work is underway to demolish disused therapy buildings at Stoke Mandeville Hospital that contain asbestos.
Buckinghamshire Council approved the demolition for a third time, with work running from this week until mid-February.
The buildings, close to nearby homes, have been described as being in disrepair.
Contractors have been advised to minimise disruption, with working hours limited to weekdays.
