Lib Dem MP for Amersham and Chesham Sarah Green and Tory Mid Bucks MP Greg Smith both voted against.
Mr Smith says he will continue to fight for local pensioners:
Laura Kyrke-Smith MP said: "Yesterday, I voted with the Government in support of the changes, as I support the overall programme of change that we were elected to deliver. Unfortunately, given the dire state of the finances that we have inherited from the Conservatives, this Government is having to make some tough decisions and this is one of them.
I am however determined that the most vulnerable pensioners in Aylesbury and the villages get the right support. I am encouraging people to check their eligibility for pension credit and register if they haven’t already. I submitted questions to the Work & Pensions Secretary to ask what additional support is available and I’m ensuring that people are aware of everything on offer.
