The Amersham Health Centre is currently working from temporary buildings in the car park.
It's due to bacteria that causes Legionnaire's disease was found in the water supply during “routine and precautionary testing” of the centre’s water system.
The clinic have stated they are working hard to deal with the problem, and that operations from the temporary buildings are expected to last eight to 12 weeks.
A spokesperson for the centre said risks to patients, staff and visitors is “minimal”, and that extra measures (including special filters, enhanced flushes, and bottled water) are in place to “reduce and control” exposure.
Patients have also been told there is no on-site parking due to the issue.
