Following today's announcement (9/9) that they will close 3 day centres, Buckinghamshire Council have announced a new and improved model for how it provides day care and overnight respite services for adults with disabilities and complex needs.

Buckinghamshire Council has formally agreed a comprehensive Improvement Plan to strengthen services for vulnerable children and young people, following the latest Ofsted inspection of its Children's Services.

Three Buckinghamshire day centres are to close following a council decision on their future.
