Wondrous Weekends at the Roald Dahl Museum

Weekends are packed with hands-on activities, all included with Museum admission.

*Join in with Roald Dahl storytelling from your favourite books.
*Pick up a gallery trail to help you explore the galleries.
*Have a go at our courtyard games, including Connect Four and Fantastic Mr Fox cornhole.
*Drop-in to our craft room and enjoy activity sheets inspired Roald Dahl classic stories.
*Head upstairs to our games room and makes some LEGO animals, play Roald Dahl board games or get stuck in with Duplo.
*Pick up free walk leaflets and head out of the Museum to see some of the real-life sites that inspired the stories.
*Splash about with waterplay in the courtyard.
*Don’t forget that our admission tickets allow entry for 12 months so you can enjoy a whole years worth of wondrous weekends.

All activities are free with Museum admission (£13.95/£9.95), just drop-in or pick up a trail sheet while you’re here.

You can book tickets online in advance or at the ticket desk when you arrive.

Under 16s will need to be accompanied in the Museum at all times, but that means adults get to have a go too!



Food and drink
Our Filling-Station Kiosk will also be open serving hot and cold drinks, cakes, savoury pastries and kids lunch boxes. Or can bring your own food and eat in our picnic room.
