The Price family’s garden has seen it all - laughter, love, secrets, heartbreak and hope. Over the course of a single year, Things I Know to be True follows parents Bob and Fran and their four adult children as they each face moments that will redefine their lives, and their place in the family.
Written by Andrew Bovell, this moving and relatable story explores the ways love binds us - and sometimes breaks us. It’s a story about growing up, letting go and learning that the people we love most are often the ones we understand the least.
The storytelling combines naturalistic dialogue with physical movement. This style, inspired by physical theatre company Frantic Assembly, creates moments that are visual, intimate and powerful.
