Win tickets to a Fantastic Foxy Summer
The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in Great Missenden is kicking off a six week long celebration of the 1970 children’s book, Fantastic Mr Fox, this summer - and next week you can win tickets to join the fun!
From Tuesday July 21st until September 2nd, visitors will be able to see Dahl’s original handwritten manuscript of the story which tells the tale of the title character’s efforts to outwit Farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean.

There will be a host of workshops throughout the summer holidays based on the story of Fantastic Mr Fox, with interactive activities and workshops to unlock the imagination.
Next week, you'll have the chance to win one of 5 family tickets (comprising 2 x adults over 18 and 2 x children per family ticket), with Bucks Radio.

Also on display will be letters which Dahl sent to his publishers in which he described his wish for Mr Fox to be wearing a ‘’natty jacket’, alongside the model wooden hut which appeared in Wes Anderson’s 2009 stop motion film, Fantastic Mr Fox.
Natalie Wallace, Head of Learning at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, adds: “Wes Anderson stayed with Dahl’s widow, Felicity Dahl, at Gypsy House during his research for the film. The model hut which appears in the opening scenes of the film is based on a similar building in which Mrs Dahl kept firewood and lawn mowers at her home in Great Missenden."
