Live in the Park 2023
Aylesbury Town Council’s Live in the Park is back for 2023 on the 26 of August from 12 noon until 9:30pm.
It’s a totally FREE EVENT full of live music and entertainment. Yes, all of the entertainment and activities are free.
Back by popular demand is the Kids Ent Tent - featuring some of the town’s favourite party entertainers.
Dancing fun for under 5s, with Tia from Tot Bop
Your favourite Disney princesses belting out popular songs
Family interactive games with DJ Dan Blaze and Michaela
And a range of “special guests” mingling with the crowd
In the CIA - Community Involvement Area – local businesses, charities and organisations have a wide range of fun, games and activities to amuse the kids while you can find out more about what’s available on your doorstep.
You’ll find
- Music sessions with XYZ Music school
- Face-painting with Zoomania
- And can have a go at anything from Salsa dancing to badminton, laser tag and sumo wrestling!!
As well as Bucks UK Astronomy / Army Cadet Force / Affinity Badminton / Stay and Play / Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity / Pauline Quirk Academy, Code Ninjas and many, many more great activities to try out.
Younger children can also enjoy the swing boats and mini-chair-o-planes.

You can bring your own picnics – including drink - just no glass please. Or grab cold drinks and hot food from the amazing local catering stalls and bars.

Local bars are looking forward to serving you cold beer and other drinks
As part of Aylesbury Town Council’s commitment to the environment, single use plastic cups will NOT be issued at any of the bars. Instead, reusable and recyclable plastic cups can be purchased at £1 each or bring your own from previous years.
The Bucks Radio will be opening the proceedings with 45 minuets of banging festival tunes to get you in the mood for a party.
The Bucks Radio Second Stage will host
A “mix tape” featuring snippet sets from Zhana & Jae, JP & Betty and Keira Gabriel
Maria from A Big Voice, with some belting show and festival tunes
Faces Fall, original Indie and runners up from last years Battle of the Bands
Mojo Mules, soulful blues duo
The Riffs, who play original Ska
“Mr Paul Adams and his band of local heroes”, to get you in the mood for the headline act.
And the Main Stage will see
Chapter Six, with pop covers from across the decades
Crimson 97, Battle of the Bands winners with their original alternative rock
Jack Manders’s Jazz Latin Funk Band, featuring this super talented local 14 year old drummer
The Matt Edwards Band, providing late afternoon blues and rock
Cherry Smoke, a big stage set of big party tunes
Headlining 2023 is the awesome Who’s Got The Dog – this 10 piece, double fronted, party band with an amazing brass section will have you jiving, jigging and jumping to the very end of the event.
For the second year a Battle of the Bands hosted alongside XYZ Music Academy. will take place in the evening in the Kids Ent Tent marquee from 6:45 – 9pm. Come along to support new artists who are battling it out to performing on the main stage in 2024.
Live in the Park, part of Parklife Weekend - a free festival hosted by Aylesbury Town Council – bringing communities together with free accessible events.
