A woman in her thirties was the victim of an attempted street robbery in High Wycombe on Wednesday morning.
At 6:50am on 16th February, the victim was approached by a man at the junction of Oakridge Road and Green Street. He tried to snatch her bag but the victim was able to get away.
The offender is described as a tall Asian man, with facial hair and wearing a knee length jacket.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Andrew Cummins, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“Further, I’d appeal to motorists with dash-cams who were in the local area around the time of the incident to please check if any footage may have captured what happened.
