Tomorrow (Thursday 25th November 2021) the annual Seasonal Shopping Evening will be returning to Stoke Mandeville Stadium, in support of the national wheelchair sport charity WheelPower.
After last year’s event was held virtually the charity are hosting the festive event between 4.30-8.30pm.
It is completely free to attend and free parking will be available at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
There will be over 20 stalls present at the evening, selling everything from handmade chocolate, to Christmas hampers, to jewellery and lots of brilliant festive craft products.
The Stoke Mandeville Combined School choir will be on hand to get everyone in the Christmas spirit, and there will also be mulled wine and homemade cakes, a tombola.
Matthew French, from the charity told Bucks Radio:
"The Seasonal Shopping Evening has been taking place for many years, unfortunately last year we had to host it virtually because of COVID, but in 2021 we're really looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Stoke Mandeville Stadium and raising lots of money for WheelPower.
"We really value the support of the local community, the money that's raised from this event really will transform lives for disabled people, and help us to create more opportunities for them to take part in sport and get active as we head into 2022."
