Wendover Parish Council has expressed disappointment after newly installed equipment at Ashbrook Playpark was vandalised.
A section of the multi-play structure was removed and stolen, prompting safety concerns for children and families. The damaged area has now been taped off while the council works with the playpark company to arrange repairs.
In a statement, the parish council said they were "disappointed and concerned about this reckless act of vandalism as this could have caused an injury."

Residents are being urged not to climb on the affected equipment until repairs are completed.
The council is appealing for information and is asking anyone who may know more about the incident to contact their office on 01296 623056 or email estates@wendover-pc.gov.uk.
