As Winter approaches and the nights get darker local Police are encouraging you to take a few precautions to help prevent Burglary's and break-ins.
They include:
Using a timer switch to have your lights come on if it gets dark before you are home.
Fitting sensor lights to the outside of your property to light up any wanted and unwanted visitors.
If you are away overnight, asking a neighbour to park their car on your drive to create the appearance of your home being occupied.
If you wish to discuss any of this further, you can speak to a member of your Neighbourhood Team who will be happy to help.
