Chiltern Railways will operate a Boxing Day train service for customers to take advantage of sales this year.
On a day where very limited rail services are in operation across the country, two trains an hour will operate in both directions between London Marylebone and Oxford Parkway on Friday 26 December.
With destinations on the route such as Bicester Village and London Designer Outlet at Wembley Park, rail travel with Chiltern provides the perfect opportunity for customers looking to do some Boxing Day shopping.
The stops along the route include:
London Marylebone, Wembley Stadium, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Haddenham & Thame Parkway, Bicester Village and Oxford Parkway.
Michael Stewart, Commercial and Customer Strategy Director at Chiltern Railways, said:
"Chiltern customers can travel by rail between London and Oxfordshire this Boxing Day and take advantage of some great shopping destinations on our route.
"Two trains an hour will run in each direction between the stations and journey planners have been updated. Please check your journey as services will start and end later than usual."
