The Aylesbury Local Policing Teams are aware of a number of new attempted Catalytic Converter thefts in and around Aylesbury.
A recent attempt was unsuccessful as the owner had a lock fitted to the converter.
Because of this, officers are encouraging people to ask their local garage if they are able to fit locks or weld on the converter to prevent thefts.
