Police say a zero-tolerance operation targeting shoplifting has led to multiple arrests in Aylesbury town centre.
Officers from the Retail Crime Team carried out covert patrols over several days, identifying offenders aged between 18 and 68.
Those detained now face fines, court action, cautions and bans from local shops.
Police say patrols will continue and are urging businesses and the public to report suspicious behaviour via 101 – or 999 in an emergency.
