Officers visited the Grange School as part of the nationwide operation to educate and raise awareness of the dangers of carrying knives
On Friday (23/5) the Aylesbury East neighbourhood team collaborated with The Grange School to conduct a knife arch operation.
A knife arch is a portable metal detector, similar to those at airports, aimed at screening students for knives or other weapons
Officers say no students were found in possession of a weapon or pointed blade/article and they've thanked all the staff and students for their cooperation.

Operation Sceptre is a national initiative aimed at tackling knife crime, and educating young people on the dangers of carrying knives.
