At around 2.45pm on Thursday (6/10), a blue Fiat Punto with white stripes drove along the footpath from Cole Road into Walton Court Park to Bedwyn Walk.
Thankfully no one was injured as a result of the incident, and a 21-year-old man from Aylesbury has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has been released under investigation.
Despite this, Police are still appealing for witnesses.
Investigating officer, PC Levi Fensom, based at Aylesbury police station, said:
“At the time there were a number of parents with children in the park that the vehicle drove through and so a good chance that someone saw what happened.
“Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43220449677.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online.”
