Police in High Wycombe are appealing for witnesses after a grievous bodily harm incident in the town.
Between 10.15pm and 10.45pm on Monday 29 November there was an altercation between two men on Benjamin Road.
One of the men, aged in his forties, went to his car, a black Ford Galaxy, to leave and was followed by another man who assaulted him with a weapon described as a machete.
The victim sustained deep lacerations to his hand and forearm and remains in hospital receiving treatment.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Richard Tulloch, based at High Wycombe police station, said:
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.
