Planners have approved a man’s plan to build a swimming pool next to the M25 motorway in Buckinghamshire.
Applicant Mr M Johar was given the go-ahead for the project at Home Farm on Seven Hills Road, in Iver Heath, which borders the M25.
The indoor swimming pool, measuring 12.6m by 5m, would be located in the garden of the house on the farm and is to be used by those occupying the property.
It would be housed in a new outbuilding, which would feature a pool lounge, changing room, and plant room.
Bucks Council has granted the applicant a certificate of lawfulness for the plan, which it says ‘does not require planning permission’.
A previous plan to build a swimming pool at the site was withdrawn.
The property on the farm was given permission for a single-storey side extension in 2023, which included dormers on both sides, rear elevations, and a roof light at the front.
