Overnight flooding possible in North Bucks

Persistent rain, and the threat of more to come, has led to the Environment Agency to issue 3 flood alerts in our region

Areas affected include:

  • The Upper River Great Ouse in Bucks, where flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible tonight (20/01). The Padbury Brook area is thought to be the worst affected.
  • The River Thame and Chalgrove Brook, where flooding of low lying roads, paths and land is expected to continue over the coming days between Aylesbury and Dorchester. Property flooding is not currently expected but more rain is forecast.
  • The River Ray including Ludgershall, Blackthorn and Murcott. Flooding of low lying roads, paths and farmland is expected to continue over the coming days. Property flooding is not currently expected but more rain is forecast
