As we mark the 2 year anniversary that Bucks went into lockdown due to Covid-19, yesterday The Florence Nightingale Rainbow was the location of a Day of Reflection.
The National Day of Reflection has been established to support the millions of people who are grieving, and to remember the family, friends, neighbours and colleagues we've lost over the last two years.
To mark the occasion the Florence Nightingale Hospice team held a one minute's silence at 12pm on Wednesday 23rd March 2022, on the roundabout at Nightingale's Rainbow at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
The Hospital Chaplain, Stefan Tiran and Deputy Bereavement Lead Shane Turvey spoke either side of the silence. The Countess Howe, Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire was amongst the guests.
