Firefighters responded to a kitchen fire in Chalfont St Peter.
Three crews attended (Gerrards Cross, Amersham, Beaconsfield), along with an officer at Hillside Close.
Firefighters were called to a kitchen hob fire in a two-storey domestic building.
The fire was out on arrival.
One male was suffering the effects of smoke inhalation, firefighter used an immediate emergency care pack and passed them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
