Daniel Larman, aged 19, from Birmingham, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and one count of possession of a controlled class B drug – namely cannabis.
He was sentenced to 10 months in prison at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 20 September.
On 18 September, Larman’s vehicle was stopped and searched at Strensham Services on the M5.
Upon searching the vehicle officers located a lock knife and some cannabis.
Investigating officer, PC Alistair Rokas, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am pleased that a dangerous weapon has been taken off of our streets.
“As a force, we are committed to tackling knife crime and bringing offenders to justice.
