A young Wendover squash player has been selected for a new programme designed to help British athletes be better prepared for future success.
Katie Malliff, who won the European Under 19 Championships earlier this year, will be part of the group attending the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham this summer on the Team England Future Programme.
Over one thousand young athletes and aspiring support staff will get the chance to watch live sport, and take a first hand look behind the scenes. The aim is to provide them with valuable experience and insights to competition environments and is for those who could represent Team England, Team GB or Paralympics GB at future games.
