A University of Buckingham graduate has found success with his E-bike business, and is now giving back to his uni.
Mathias Wurtz, from Milton Keynes is offering University of Buckingham students a 10 per cent discount on his folding electric bikes, making his vehicles are 30 per cent cheaper than many other e-bikes.
He did a Business Enterprise course where he had to set up his own company during the course. He now, under the brand name Whirlwind, has some household names, including Robert Dyas, Perfect House and Brighthouse, selling the foldable bikes.
He told us his plans for the future:
"To become a well respected UK brand that specialises in the design and distribution of our own range of electric bikes. Where we want to work closely with Buckingham and other universities to promote a greener and healthier lifestyle for students."
