The leader of the Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, has visited Buckinghamshire today (17/11/25) to meet farmers and discuss growing pressures on rural communities.
Speaking at an emergency food and farming summit in Fleet Marston, near Aylesbury, the Tory Leader told Bucks Radio that the challenges facing the sector must not be overlooked. She highlighted concerns raised by local farmers about rising energy costs, rural crime, and the financial pressures on family-run farms.
In her interview, Badenoch urged farmers and supporters across Buckinghamshire to “keep the pressure on the government” as they seek action to halt what many in the industry describe as a decline in rural livelihoods.
