Bucks Council are supporting the national Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean campaign, by helping and encouraging local people to litter pick in their area.
After winning the Great British September Clean Award at the Keep Britain Tidy Network Awards last year, bucks council want this year to be bigger and better than ever.
In a bid to support the campaign and any local litter picking events, the Council will collect waste from litter picking activities from an agreed, designated point or residential address, if groups contact the council in advance.
There are also litter pickers, bags, hoops, high vis vests and gloves which can be loaned free of charge to individuals and groups (subject to availability).
This years event is between 28 May – 13 June 2020. To get involved:
