ITV journalist and presenter, Robert Peston, is calling on solicitors in Buckinghamshire to sign up to a charity campaign aimed at gaining assistance for people in writing their wills.
The coronavirus pandemic has seen a surge in demand for help in the region and left hundreds of local people waiting to write a will.
The campaign, ran by Will Aid, is asking for local firms to step up and provide support.
Robert, who has supported the campaign since the deaths of his wife and father, said to Bucks Radio: “Getting involved with Will Aid not only helps protect someone's wishes but also helps vulnerable people across the UK access the support they need.
“Writing a will can be an upsetting experience but it helps to ease pain and disruption, something so many of us have experienced throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
“I would urge solicitors in Buckinghamshire to get involved this year and help more people through these exceptional times we find ourselves living through.”

49% of people across the UK do not currently have a will.
Firms that take part in the campaign offer their time and expertise for a suggested voluntary client donation of £100 for a will.
