The first ever Bucks Open Weekend is shaping up nicely as it includes over 70 events and activities so far!
Open Weekend is a new co-ordinated event taking place 22-25 July and organised by Buckinghamshire Culture in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council.
This celebration of creativity, culture and stories includes activities being run by Waddesdon Manor, Buckingham Town Council, High Wycombe Bid Co and many others.
Take a look at the Open Weekend What’s On (www.buckinghamshireculture.org/Open-Weekend-Whats-On) to find out what’s happening – Albeit a literary walk, a textiles workshop, a dyeing workshop, or a story telling event.
Bill Morris, Buckinghamshire Culture Co-Chair said:
“It is fantastic to see so many creative activities taking place for Open Weekend! We are really excited about the stories that people of all ages and background might share as part of the Open Weekend.’’
“This feels like a great opportunity to welcome people back to our town centres and cultural venues after lockdown.”
For any groups or organisations still interested in contributing an event, there is still time – head over to www.buckinghamshireculture.org/Open-Weekend to find the registration form.
