Police in High Wycombe formed an unlikely alliance with police in Northern Ireland to catch a criminal yesterday. (22/7)
Officers from the Chepping Wye Valley Team attended reports of a suspicious abandoned vehicle blocking a service road.
After checks on the vehicle, it showed that it was stolen. Further checks then revealed it was possibly linked to a person WANTED for a SERIOUS ASSUALT in Northern Ireland.
Officers from ICR TEAM 5 WYCOMBE were guided in to where the person was suspected to be, and after a short foot chase the person was caught, arrested for theft of motor vehicle, and now have an extradition pending.
