Officers investigating the murder of a 17-year-old boy in High Wycombe have made two further arrests.
A man and a woman, both aged 32 and from High Wycombe, were both arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder this morning (10/5).
Two men, aged 29 and 49, both from High Wycombe, who were previously arrested in relation to the murder, remain in custody after a warrant of further detention was obtained.
The arrests are in relation to an incident on Sunday (7/5), where officers were called following reports of a stabbing in the Easton Street area of the town.
Officers attended along with the ambulance service but, tragically, a 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Home Office post-mortem examination took place yesterday (9/5) and the preliminary cause of death has been given as a stab wound to the back.
Formal identification has not yet taken place and the victim’s family continue to be supported by specially trained officers.
Another boy, also aged 17, was also wounded in the incident. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
