With their Not the Midnight Walk event on Saturday (10th July), the Florence Nightingale Hospice have reminded people that our four legged furry friends can get involved too!
They have included places for dogs on the walk this year, and to celebrate, the University of Buckingham's own robotic pet Spot came to the Hospice's charity shop in Buckingham.
Spot came nose-to-nose with two more traditional, but also highly talented dogs - Antilly the Wonder Dog and Wylie Smiley have featured in shows such as After Life and Mary, Queen of Scots.
Julie Chitty from the charity told us more:
"Spot and the two other dogs joined us in the shop, and then for a walk through Buckingham complete with their Florence bananas, it was fanatic to see Spot up close and exploring the shop - a real mix of past and future!"
There is still time to book your place on this year’s NOT The Midnight Walk – you can walk along, with your dog, with friends, family or colleagues. Find out more at www.fnhospice.org.uk/notthemidnightwalk or call 01296 429975.
