Bucks Police were involved in a pursuit through High Wycombe, Flackwell Heath and Marlow on Tuesday evening when a car failed to stop.
The Astra mounted the pavement to avoid being stopped, but a ‘stop stick’ was used to deflate the tyres and the pursuit was brought to a safe conclusion in Marlow.
The driver was arrested for Dangerous Driving and driving without insurance, plus they failed a roadside drug wipe - and the car has been seized.
The driver has since been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
