Senior political leaders and education and health partners across Buckinghamshire are backing a new campaign aimed at creating fairer futures for young carers.
The county-wide pledge campaign has been launched by Carers Bucks ahead of Young Carers Action Day. Supporters say the initiative aims to raise awareness of the challenges faced by young carers and encourage organisations across the county to commit to better support for those balancing education with caring responsibilities. Among those backing the campaign are Emma Reynolds, Laura Kyrke-Smith, Callum Anderson, and Pippa Kirkbride. Organisers say the pledge campaign brings together partners in education, health and local leadership to help ensure young carers receive the recognition and support they need to succeed in school and beyond.
