Buckinghamshire Council is set to rewrite the terms of a major land sale in High Wycombe after developers warned worsening market conditions had put affordable housing plans at risk.
The revised deal would see the council take an equity stake in discounted homes rather than a full cash payment, reducing its capital receipt but keeping the scheme alive.
Failure to agree the changes could see the entire contract collapse.
