Buckinghamshire Council has said its working with police following the murder of a 17-year-old boy in High Wycombe.
The teenager was fatally stabbed in the Easton Street area on Sunday.
In a statement, the council's cabinet member for communities - Steve Bowles - said the council was saddened to hear of the tragic death and its thoughts are with the victim's family and friends.
Mr Bowles said the local authority with working with Thames Valley Police.
Two men have been arrested and are in custody.
